Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is barely a day old and already has a paid DLC. For what it’s worth, it’s all for a good cause. According to an official blog post, the Call of Duty Endowment (C.O.D.E.) Protector Pack is a $9.99 premium DLC that comes with operator skins, weapon blueprints, and calling cards. However, it’s not your typical DLC. Activision revealed that the proceeds of the DLC will go towards the Call of Duty Endowment initiative, a nonprofit organization that it founded to provide help for American and British veterans reentering the workforce....

On one hand, the tease corroborates our earlier report that a limited-time event featuring the two MonsterVerse leads as potential boss battles. During the December 12 episode of Raw, Bobby Lashley went up against Seth Rollins in a match that would decide the #1 contender for Austin Theory’s United States Championship. However, a recent report claims this isn’t the case. According to Sportskeeda, Punk is still part of Fight Forever and AEW representatives will announce if they remove someone from the game. The same report claims that the entirety of the AEW roster will be in the game and that it will have a “T” for Teens rating in the United States. Despite these revelations, it’s still unclear if Punk will continue to be the cover star of AEW: Fight Forever....

According to their latest announcement, EA’s free-to-play battle royale shooter will kick off its first-ever regional beta sometime this April. Based on the game listing by the Portuguese site Gaming Replay, Biomutant will be released on the Nintendo Switch on October 25, 2022. The listing was recently spotted by GoNintendo and checking out the site, it is still live (update: the listing has been taken down). The listing provides a price tag and box art for the game. The listed price of €54.99 is close to the price of the game on Xbox....

Ash finally achieved his lifelong quest last year. The Pallet Town-born Pokemon trainer beat all the other Pokemon League Champions at the Pokemon World Coronation Series Masters Eight Tournament. Ever since the new of the merger broke, some statements have been made to give fans reassurances - like Microsoft committing to keeping CoD on the PlayStation, at least for the next few years. We’re looking at the largest variety of available game modes in Warzone since launch, and the game isn’t suffering from player base splintering - the alleged reason why publishers are generally reluctant to keep a large number of game modes active concurrently. Since now it’s clear that Warzone has plenty of players to spare and maintain all these playlists, hopefully Activision and Infinity Ward will opt for keeping Solos, Duos, Trios and Quads in the game permanently, with other modes on a rotating basis....

A part of the on-going partnership between Activision and Sony, which includes offering timed exclusive content on PlayStation platforms first for multiplatform games, Onslaught is basically a horde mode where you and one other player need to survive increasingly difficult waves of zombies. Maps will bring the zombie curse to a wide variety of familiar locations from the game - this probably means that maps from a regular horde mode are going to be recycled - for this 2-player co-op mode....
