Marvel Studios has released two new trailers and they sent fans into a frenzy. Both trailers show a brief glimpse of two Black Panther helmets. Fans have speculated that this is a hint that there will be two Black Panthers appearing in Wakanda Forever. There have been theories about multiple Black Panthers appearing in the sequel following the death of T’Challa’s as there was no clear-cut successor for the mantle of protector for Wakanda....

Nintendo is now the new owners of the CG animation and motion capture studio, Dynamo Pictures. Nintendo will rename the company, which previously did motion capture work for Persona 5, Death Stranding, and NieR Replicant, into Nintendo Pictures. Does this mean that Nintendo is finally ready to jump back into Hollywood after all these years? We can’t say for sure. But, it is curious that the acquisition comes as Nintendo is working on the company’s first big-screen adaptation in a long time in next year’s Super Mario Bros....

Audiences missed Nintendo’s presence at this year’s massive lineup of gaming events and shows, which is probably why we’re getting all kinds of reports that the company will end the month with its own event. Although we have not received an official confirmation yet, several sources have corroborated each other’s reports in recent weeks. We just received a short teaser signaling the imminent ports, followed by official confirmation from developer Oddworld Inhabitants. The video gives us a comparison of what kind of graphical differences to expect from the two versions, but since the PS5 footage is running on backwards compatibility, the upgrade on the native port will be even larger - at least we hope so, because we can barely notice any difference at all. Since the team used the backwards compatible version, we assume the native version isn’t ready for prime time....

According to Blizzard president, Mike Ybarra, Overwatch 2 servers are down due to a “mass” distributed denial of service attack, otherwise known as DDoS. A few hours later, Overwatch 2 game director, Aaron Keller, confirmed that Blizzard is still working on getting the servers back up after the game suffered a second DDoS attack. This is bad news for the Overwatch sequel, as Blizzard recently said goodbye to the original....
