HBO recently dropped a trailer of all the shows coming to its cable and streaming platforms in the next twelve months, which includes a brief glimpse at Pedro Pascal’s Joel, Bella Ramsey’s Ellie, and Nick Offerman’s Bill. The original Sims came out over twenty years ago and in that era, cheat codes were considered a natural part of the game. The original developers of TimeSplitters back in the day bore the same name, and this isn’t homage isn’t just at face value either. With such a successful movie under their belts, you’d think that Sony and Marvel will look to fast-track Tom Holland’s next MCU film, but this isn’t the case. In an earlier report, Amy Pascal hinted that more Spider-Man MCU films are coming starring Tom Holland, among other matters. Mind you, this statement from the Sony producer was before No Way Home started breaking box office records left and right. Now, Tom Holland has gone on record with EW to confirm that a fourth Spider-Man movie in the MCU is not officially in the works....

The game’s developers have also taken full advantage of the extra time afforded to them by the delay. In recent months, 343 Industries have added new features to the game like dynamic weather and improved visuals, among many others items. One could argue that Ubisoft is pretty much the Disney of gaming (albeit not as big), which is why it shouldn’t come off as a total surprise that Ubisoft is planning on opening its own theme park. In fact, this is a plan that’s been years in the making with a 2020 original launch date. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic, among other things, pushed back Ubisoft’s original plans and now the French publishers have confirmed that the theme park is now on track for a 2025 opening....

The Division 2 update’s delay is for the greatest good Ubisoft made the announcement on Twitter, claiming that the delay is a necessary part of their goal to continue and “deliver the best The Division 2 experience”. The studio added that this will help in their attempt to “restart a more regular update schedule on The Division 2” as the popular online action RPG turns three by next year. Unfortunately, while this is all for the betterment of the game, it appears that the development team behind The Division 2 will go dark until the update is ready....

As is usually the case, the Dead Man’s Tale can roll with various randomly dealt perks when you get it at the end of the quest, and some are more useful than others. As explained in the announcement, “VRR dynamically syncs the refresh rate of the display of the PS5’s graphical output,” adding that this will help enhance “visual performance for PS5 games by minimizing or eliminating visual artifacts, such as frame pacing issues and screen tearing.” The announcement then summarizes the benefits perfectly by saying that PS5 titles will play a lot better as “scenes render instantly, graphics look crisper, and input lag is reduced....

After mixed reactions to the DC Extended Universe from the critically panned Joss Whedon-directed Justice League movie in 2017, fans rallied on social media for the Snyder Cut. Although it was long dismissed as being impossible, this was inevitably fulfilled as an HBO Max exclusive. The studio even shelled out $70 million on top of the original budget for Zack Snyder to finish the project with VFX and additional scenes....

But, as it turns out, WB Games Montreal is still going to make plenty of concessions to get Gotham Knights to run well on current-gen consoles. According to one of the game’s developers, Gotham Knights’ frame rates are capped at 30 FPS on the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series S/X. Unlike several other current-gen exclusive titles, Gotham Knights will not let players choose between quality and performance modes. WB explains that the main reason for this is the co-op element....
