Getting the Gear
The new gear sets are obtained by farming the Icereach and Unhallowed Grave dungeons; Icereach is in northern Wrothgar, and Unhallowed Grave is in the Hollow Wastes of Bangkoral. It’s not as gruelling as it sounds – any boss from these dungeons has a chance to drop multiple items from the same set, making collecting them much easier. You can also trade pieces with other players to collect the sets faster. We recommend being at least Level 50 and CP160 before attempting to farm the dungeons.
The Sets
Hiti’s Hearth (Icereach Dungeon)
Hiti’s Hearth is a set of Light Armor with the Arcane jewellery trait. The set consists of five pieces. This set is best for healers, allowing them to recover their magical abilities faster and adding the Health Recovery benefit of Warming Aura when wearing the whole set.
Titanborn Strength (Icereach Dungeon)
Titanborn Strength is a set of Medium Armor with the Robust jewellery trait. The set consists of 5 pieces. This set is best for characters whose focus is physical DPS that are adept at balancing the risk of fighting while at lower health to maximize their damage. The added Physical Penetration can help your attacks punch through your opponent’s armour, and the damage bonuses can help you bring down enemies with higher Health pools faster.
Bani’s Torment
Bani’s Torment is a set of Heavy Armor with the Health jewellery trait. The set consists of 5 pieces. This set is ideal for players that like occupying the role of a tank; it boosts your Healing Taken to make your allies’ assistance more effective. The set’s 5-piece perk also improves the chance of survivability against enemies that you’ve taunted.
Mother Ciannait (Icereach Dungeon)
Mother Ciannait is a Monster Mask set. This set is much smaller than the others, consisting of 2 pieces. This set is ideal for casters who favour spells with long casting times. It also shields you from large damage bursts while casting, making combat less perilous for you.
Aegis Caller (Unhallowed Grave Dungeon)
Aegis Caller is a set of Medium Armor with the Robust jewellery trait. The set consists of 5 pieces. This set can greatly benefit characters who focus on melee DPS characters. The ability to summon a Lesser Aegis as a companion can give you an edge in any battle.
Draugrkin’s Grip (Unhallowed Grave Dungeon)
Draugrkin’s Grip is a set of Light Armor with the Arcane jewellery trait. The set consists of 5 pieces. This set is excellent for DPS spellcasters, allowing your spells to break through armour with the extra Spell Penetration. The complete set can allow you to do even more damage with your spells, making you devastating against your enemies.
Grave Guardian (Unhallowed Grave Dungeon)
Grave Guardian is a set of Heavy Armor with the Healthy jewellery trait. The set consists of 5 pieces. This is another great set for tank characters; it essentially allows you to act as a protector of yourself and your companions, making you much more resistant to damage.
Kjalnar’s Nightmare (Unhallowed Grave Dungeon)
Kjalnar’s Nightmare is a Monster Mask set. This is another small set, consisting of only 2 pieces. This set is ideal for spellcasters that want to have more control in one-on-one combat situations. The perks allow you to rely on light attacks to save your mana and stun your enemy often enough to give you an advantage.
Critical Riposte (Crafted Set)
Crafting Critical Riposte requires 3 Traits to be researched. This set consists of 5 pieces. This set is ideal for tank players who like engaging in PvP combat, making your opponent weaker when they attack you. You can craft this set in Vlastarus or Cyrodiil.
Unchained Aggressor (Crafted Set)
Crafting Unchained Aggressor requires 3 Traits to be researched. This set consists of five pieces. This set is excellent for physical DPS characters, making them devastating after they escape their enemies’ stunning or binding attacks. It’s also ideal for PvP combat. You can craft this set in Bruma or Cyrodiil.
Dauntless Combatant (Crafted Set)
Crafting Dauntless Combatant requires 3 Traits to be researched. This set consists of 5 pieces. This set isn’t really specialized for any particular playstyle, but it keeps you mobile and can be invaluable in PvP matches to resist characters who specialize in stunning or binding effects.
